Description
Buckleys’ Pipeline Test Kit contains all the necessary equipment to enable inspectors to perform basic tests for pinholes, porosity and other faults quickly and effectively on non-conductive pipe coatings or linings. Coating thicknesses of 16 microns up to a maximum of 14.4mm can be tested. Additional Phosphor Bronze electrodes, either straight or curved, can be supplied for use with the kit. Alternatively, Rolling Spring electrodes can provide an effective means of testing external pipe coatings and are available in most sizes. External coatings on smaller pipes (less than 100mm /4 inches) can be tested by using a silicone rubber electrode (with suitable size hole) through which the pipe can be passed. For further information see
Electrode section.
An optional robust transit case is available which has been specially designed to carry all the items in the kit, this would be particularly useful when working on-site.
