Description
Buckleys’ Roofing/Bridge Deck Kit enables inspectors to check a roof or bridge deck for pinholes and porosity quickly and effectively. Non-conductive membranes can be tested (from 16 microns up to a maximum thickness of 14.4mm). For the test to be effective, the membrane must have a conductive backing. The kit contains all the equipment needed to perform the tests and includes a 50m earth extension lead and a 450mm (18 inch) wide phosphor bronze brush electrode, suitable for most applications.
The kit is supplied in a hi-visibility carrying case which holds the unit and all the accessories provided This would be particularly useful when working on site and, for added convenience, the batteries can be charged (out of the unit) by mains or from a car lighter socket. Alternatively, good quality D cells can be used.
