Description

This test instrument provides a quick and cost effective method of inspecting thick coatings and linings. Coating thicknesses of between 3 – 30mm can be tested.

The Spark Tester is widely used for testing butt-welded and overlap joints in the Petro-Chemical, Pipeline Construction and Plastic and Rubber industries. A flexible probe is included with the unit but additional insulated extension rods and electrodes can be supplied, if required, for specific applications. The PPM Mk.3 is only suitable for intermittent use, the maximum recommended size for electrodes is 150mm.

A specially created Accessory Kit  is available (see data sheet T11/T11A), which includes an executive-style carrying case and a range of electrodes suitable for use with the PPM Spark Testers.
