TMF Mk.3 Spark Tester

Description

The TMF Mk.3 Spark Tester provides an effective method of checking for defects in glass under vacuum. Within the medical field, it is used extensively for detecting leaks in glass vials and is also widely used by the lighting industry to excite and start gas discharge lamps.

The TMF is a useful tool for checking fluorescent tubes for vacuum during both the production and packing stages and can be used to test light bulbs for ageing. The unit can also be employed to remove thin deposits on insulators and for ozone production (for chemistry exercises) etc.

A pointed probe electrode is supplied with the TMF to ensure that the unit is fully operational for most applications.
